We usually like Mike and Denise's but after most recent experience with them, I am not sure when or if we will return. I placed a carry out order and when we returned home, we realized a full entree and a salad was missing. Also, another pasta dish was very dry and did not taste like it did in previous visits. I explained this to the woman on the phone. She offered to make the missing entree and salad but refused to remake the other pasta. I drove all the way back there to get the missing items and again told her the pasta was not made correctly. She said "we were really busy, sorry." I spent quite a bit on the carryout order, had to drive there twice to get my full order, and then the pasta that was prepared incorrectly would not be remade. It's a shame that they did not handle this better. On a positive note, the chicken parm was delicious and the portions are large.

This was, hands down, the worst dining experience I have ever had. I would not go back, and wouldn't recommend you do either. The service was terrible, the server (I work in hospitality, so I have great respect for servers) was interested in her friends table, and the table of people drinking alcohol, and we waited for drinks, ordering, at least 45 minutes for the food to arrive and one person's meal didn't come out until everyone at the table was done eating and paid for. They brought it out in a to go box. Overall, terrible. It was a celebration for us, and the graduate left in tears. Deplorable. Do not go.

Great atmosphere, plenty to do and plenty to watch as a sports family. Beautiful set up with a cute outdoor space, clean areas, and a great vibe. The food was good, the fries did leave a little to be desired but the ranch and the wings were some of the best we have had in a while. The service was a little slow for being such a slow Tuesday night but the food and drinks were good. We had babies in our group, elderly, and every age in-between and everyone had a great time and enjoyed themselves. The price was fair for everything we got but I do wish our server was a little less sidetracked. We would go back 💯

Mike & Denise’s is an absolute gem in Yorkville. The pizza was outstanding — perfectly cooked crust, generous toppings, and clearly made with care and quality ingredients. The potato skins were just as impressive: crispy, flavorful, and loaded the right way. You can tell this is a place that takes pride in what they serve. It’s one of those hometown spots that makes you glad you live nearby (or discovered it if you’re visiting). If you’re looking for great pizza and classic comfort food at a local restaurant that truly stands out, Mike & Denise’s is a must-try.

Good pizza, we only tried the double dough and it was definitely a lot of dough, but good flavor and good toppings. Chopped salad was impressive. Very good attentive staff and creative drinks along with a large amount of draft beers.
